RAPIDQ

Rapid-Q:The lost files
My old library where i have collected all the rapidq scripts and italian help

Today my pagerank is: Free Page Rank Tool
Upbooking - free booking engine

Redirecting visitors by browser language - Part 2

Learn php /walkthrough - part II

Create an index.php page with our code

function comefrom()
{
$lang = $_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE'];
if (substr($lang, 0, 2) == 'en')
{
header("Location: english.php");
} else {
header("Location: french.php");
}
}

comefrom();
// this line calls the function..

Create the english.php page and type few line, then create french page and write something in french (don't know this language? well type: Paris je t'aime...).

If your browser is set to english you should see the english.php page but what for french?
Internet explorer, firefox and I think almost all the browser let you select the browser language. I'm currently using IE with italian menu so I don't know the exact menu name in english but.. I can figure it out.

Go to tools > internet options > languages
If there aren't other languages select "add" to add another language to your browser. With the new language (french) selected click move up..

now your new browser default language should be changed.
In Firefox the process is quite the same so there's no need to type it again.

Now close and reopen your index.php page.. the function detects your browser language and redirects you to french.php. You should be able to see "Paris je t'aime..".

That all, hope you liked it.
